I was serious - it would be nice if this site had more about the players.
You could then use it as a scammer database, if you felt so inclined. People could post strikes against another account (would require you sign up) and when enough strikes (~5) are posted the account in question is brought to a group of administrators or moderators for approval. They vote in the same way the striking system works. If there is a greater quantity of votes for scammer status (which can be done multiple times, at weekly intervals, adding up to "scammer points" or something to that extent) the account will receive a single scammer point.
Then a quick index could be searched for a account to see how many scammer points they have received to get a idea of their trustworthiness. And to go a step above the suggested system above, you could also place "account relations" against a single account, so it would list the known associated accounts with a single user. This would be processed much the same as scammer strikes.
Sounds complex, but it would be VERY easy to make and would incorporate the web page into the community. The only hard part would be finding ~5 moderators to control the "scammer strike" jury. |
