Have you even tried? Hell, here's a wicked idea: remove the stupid thing from startup. msconfig/regedit ( if you're really a noob, start menu -> run -> msconfig OR regedit it out (though i don't suggest regedit if you needed to read this) or, if you're particulary lazy, use a program with a startup editor (ccleaner has one, for example). Unless your computer is joined up to a domain with one hell of a lockdown policy, your computer won't be a fortress.
If you can't do that, just rename/edit the program file. Will screw it over the next time it tries to run. If windows won't let you do that, bust out command prompt! If you stiiiill can't access it, put in a boot disk/windows install cd and get to a command prompt and do it there!
If you can't do even that, get out a memory editor and stop the timer. Freeze the damn process if you need too
