I think the problem arises from mixing pay to play and pay for benefits(cash shop). Usually it's only one way or another... if it's pay to play, no one gets an unfair advantage because everyone's paying. If it's pay for benefits, people who pay have an advantage because they're willing to chip in the money... and it's justified because the game is most likely free, so how can you complain? Well, in this case, everyone has to pay to play(or at least, play without observer mode), but people still get to pay to get an advantage. It's mixing two cash-making methods into one, and I don't think it's exactly fair in a gaming sense. |
