Katana's are useless. Sais and naginatas are only good starter weapons. They should be using them untill they outgrow those weapons.
Forest member SHOULD be using forest bows (not all, but at least a few), but then again I only see a few Foresters on in the first place. And maybe their bow just sucks? I don't really know...
The point is; I would hope this bow is planned to be a good weapon; perhaps an event weapon. So if we're going to have a good weapon, actually worth weilding... why not make it more piratey? I think the argument lies in whether or not a bow is piratey enough, or if something else would be better (gun, sword, dagger).
But if this is going to just be a craftable weapon... then I don't really care as much. Do whatever- have a blast.
And also, even if other kingdoms are doing things the ideal way... why do we also have to be the ones to fail?
