Also, you didn't have any true blacks (#000000 in hex) or true whites (#FFFFFF). This is your original modified so that the blacks are true black and your whites true white. You'll notice a huge "visual" improvement over the original.

Well you don't very often find "true black" and "true white" in real life. And I try and mix both realism and cartoonish style together...and then you get whatever horrible graphics I come up with. Probably due to the fact that I can't successfully do realism nor cartoonist styles.
But in my honest opinion in your version there the wooden door looks rather shabby, I don't like it too much. The block arch does look a lot better though. I started working on some improvements of my own. I'm basically redoing it but using the same pallet and just adding on. I will post when I'm done. I do appreciate your help, though. I'm used to harsh advice.
