Do you know a game that updates every day? Honestly, don't tell them to expect hire as newbies and they won't expect higher as time goes on. All of this negativity started because one person stood up from his chair and said "hey guys...did you know that Zone updates daily?! come play!" And they come to play and they don't get these updates daily because they
don't happen like that.
Show them what there is, not what could be added. People like you do this to them, put this unneeded pressure that they need to be like every game out there. No one pays them to do this, if players understand that while they're newbies and they still enjoy the game, as oldbies they'll have even more patience then the short fused bomb they usually have from playing dedicated MMO games.
