It was the first game I came across that allowed player houses, huge inventories, near unlimited item storage (it took me awhile to start crashing the indoor levels of my house with crap), actual player run kingdoms scripted straight into the game, and the sheer potential of this game to really rival some of the other games out here.
I believed (and still believe) that while this game might never be able to stand up against WoW, or a lot of these other flashy games like Tales of Pirates, we can use the simpler graphics and system to make up for it with much much wider array of uniqueness and content that would hopefully be far too nightmarish for these other games to pull off without 80x more work to their graphics and 3x more patches and overhauls to their game engines. (This does not entirely mean, that we need some MAAAAAJOR improvements to our own engine (or MUD as I think its called.) |
