I think you're misunderstanding the multi-national "War of Terror".

The Vietcong were basic in training and equipped with AKs but I don't think they were terrorists. Rather, communist-supporters.

Also, "waking up in hospital" isn't very good. Maybe you're a resident of Vietnam. Do you support communism or not? Keep it in context rather than the all-too cliche "amnesia" start.
