I don't think Graal has ever seen a truly "Zelda-like" server, ever. Classic never held a flame to Zelda's dungeons, puzzles, side-quests. Sure, it worked for Graal, but it was never really Zelda-like. Most of the overworld was open to newbies, so you didn't really need to progress except to get to a few small parts of the world, quests were thrown around and the scripting was horrible, and bosses never worked... Not to mention most of the quests were scripted for single players, not for multiple players at a time. The dungeons themselves consisted of kill the baddies or push the million blocks.
So ya, if you can bring a TRUE Zelda server to Graal, I'd be all for it. This means a well thought out overworld, actual dungeons that take thinking and not mashing of the S button, and creative weapons that expand your playing.
Then again, the Mario Kart server... if you can pull off some ace 3d-simulation and maybe pull it all together with some Diddy Kong racing overworld kind of thing, that would be just as great! The difference with this is that you'd have to fine-tune things to hell to make them really worth playing over and over. |
