We have added a footstep effect, for displaying snow under your shoes or dirt when walking over sand or grass. The effect uses particle effects and should not lag at all. If you don't like it then you can disable particle effects in the Graal options.
With the update we have also fixed problems with some weapons not playing walking sounds.
