You're right, but logs can't be altered. They need to log more stuff, with more information, and remove some features, like you're only able to bait stuff on a fishing rod that has (food +) in it's stats. They can also lock spell icons to be spells only... it wouldn't be very hard to fix numerous amounts of scamming problems without creating other problems.
