What you should do is make a gui with sliders for R,G,B,A, and slide them until you find the effect you want, and have a button that echo's the values.
EDIT: if you're that dedicated to using showpoly, use it on layer4+.
This will show it over everything(including GUI, unless you draw the GUI over the showpoly layer), and will use screen coordinates(0-screenwidth/height) which are in pixels |
