I had a horrible lag spike too and checked /stats and a npc that wasn't even doing anything had 760% CPU usage O_O
There weren't even any players online and that npc only does things when players are online... (It has no while loops or anything)
I've NEVER had the npc exceede more then 10%...even during stress tests. |
