A few suggestions for the second screenshot with the beach tiles:

Work on the sand<->grass and sand<->water tiles the joins need to look smoother right now they are quite abrupt.

The water needs some work, not sure what effect he's going for but it looks a little grainy for water. If he is going for being able to see the sand underneath it needs some work.

The shells need downsizing also because they are gigantic compared to everything else, unless it is some sort of special beach with giant shells.

For the balloons / umbrellas the outlines seem way too thick which makes them look out of place with everything else.
