Well the boarder is a boarder, but meant to represent what's actually holding up walls, instead of just a gradient or line or such.
As for the shadows, I just drew an image and overlayed it in photoshop with a 35% transparency. That can be achieved using an NPC as well, which would also allow it to show over the player and such. |
