Ironically, Good rep tends to be the result of a general trend of posting like a reasonable human being culmunating a few minutes after the rep-giver's already left their post (and requires a bit of backtracking); Bad rep tends to be the result of a single bad, dumb, or insensitive post.
Plus, you don't know which Post got the rep, only which Thread.
Plus, you could say something mean, get downrepped, delete the post, and repost the exact same thing.
It IS a bit silly. I'd like to see more made of the Rep function. I liked the HP/MP bars we used to have. We should run Rep through that hack. Then add a page where we can Forum Fight! RAR! |
