Well, that may be true. But when screenshots are posted, people aren't really going to be able to compare script and design. All they can compare as of yet is the graphics. Anytime a server breaks from using the standard tileset, graphics become a big factor in when people will think. So ya, it might be different, and I can't deny that, but people are concerned with graphics right now because that's the only think they know is actually done, contrary to ideas that might never be finished.
Almost every single modern server I have seen screenshots of, always looks like it could be put on Era without really messing up consistency. The server doesn't have to be a rip of Era, but I have a really hard time understanding why every modern server looks like Era. There are so many styles and directions that can be taken for modern tiles. I don't think anyone would scream Era rip if they didn't look so much like Era, even if it was nearly a replica in terms of gameplay.
