I'm saying everyone (the laming majority and the fair new players) on Zone is spoiled, the old players are whining that new players are working for Event Items therefore being equals, and the New players are whining the old players are laming them on their quest to be equals.
A simple solution would be to
do away with Event Items.
Like you get the weapon when you accomplish something.
Like leveling up in a sense.
Kill 100 people with a red rifle? Congrats, you upgrade to red pistols!
Kill 50 people in one match with a melee weapon and 50 people with a rifle? Look at you with those new reapers!
Did you just hold KoTH alone with a combat knife? That's one nice chainsaw you're sporting!
Someone's going to say " But Uncle PoJo, this deems Event Uselss!"
Not quite, the Events could be used for something else, maybe Fun "Toys" rather than weapons, or an NPC that shows your good at certain things (Maybe an icon of a shotgun next to your team icon to show you won a shotgun event)
