As the normal eggs had been digable for 20 hours before this event started i don't think that finding a normal egg is getting something, and most people left those eggs alone because they would lose time searching for that special egg.
It's not about being lazy. It's a holiday that most people don't spend couped up in their rooms running around on a game for hours on end trying to dig up a damn item. I gave up after 30 minutes, not because i'm lazy, because there was chocolate irl i had to attend to. I would have prefered a riddel or a more rp based event for easter, maybie link the pink and normal rabbit lords in it.
