Being able to get a better time when you're "racing" alone doesn't necessarily make you the better kart racer. You can do things when you're racing alone, like time your start so that you cross the starting line at full speed just as it says "go!", that would wouldn't be able to do in a real kart race. You also have to do things like pass and block attempted passes in a real kart race that you don't have to do when you race alone.
Anyways, in case anybody thinks I'm the "best" kart racer, I'm not. Leon and Paul are both better. Not to the point that it would be impossible for me to beat them in any given race, but if we were to race, say, ten times, they would win more races than I would. |
