You're making the mistake a lot of new artists make - that being they split scenes in objects. What I mean by that is you have split all of the waves into seperate objects, even going so far as to isolate them from the water (which they're part of.
You need to remember that, while mentally a wave is a very defined object, when it comes to visuals it part of the ocean, not suddenly appearing and stopping, but slowly forming to a peak and then again cutting back into the ocean.
e: However, you did a nice job with colors/definition. What I mean is instead of using black outlines and such you separated it with the base color. Always a nice choice, in my opinion. |
