I was a warrior, i bet i sung to a rabbit 30 times before I actually calmed it down. tried to orate it and it didn't work. so i would move on to the next until it finally worked. before i know it i was taking out rexes with wolves. then moved on to killing lords with rexes.
once you orate a monster you get the exp in personality when you kill something with it.
