I think it'll be easier, and cooler, to have a world built just for trials/allowing new players on to stay. That way you can control the content, don't need to add new things to the client, edit classic (which is already the case, classic has enough work to do) and has more chance of being accepted.
Sort of like the old offline, but much larger and perhaps a weeks worth of entertainment with set times and days each week with events being held (usual event house style events).
Chuck in some spar rooms, and good quality instruction and guides, and it'll be perfect and purpose built! If no one does this I may have to do it myself at summer, but someone should really start it now
