Yeah you've always got the blue hat. It's been a few years since i tried it. If you restarted over and aver with sorcerer you could get the rare hat.(still not dropable). Also a priest got a rare talisman i think also. I think they did away with them before they got rid of the sacks of holding(thief or barb) or around the same time.

That looks close to the item... maybe a little more resistances than the one from start. this item was very rare like 1/50 times i would get it when i started. I found the sack of holding on thief, and tried the other classes.
