At first glance it seems to be some sort of problem with trying to extract images from URLs that end with a non-image extension. In this case, extensions are .php for attachments and such because that is how vBulletin delivers them to the user. I'm not entirely sure what the solution is; I'm wondering if it has something to do with file associations?
