How can you back up any of these claims?
Sure, he did those things (although "generally an ass" is obviously completely open to interpretation), but that doesn't mean he wasn't a nice and great person. All of us do things that aren't nice and great, and if we only point out the bad things that people do, then everyone would look like a bad person.
