Can everybody please just settle down for a minute?

The point was completely lost in the midst of this

I've heard alot of "You peole are just greedy " and something along the lines of "Be happy with what you have, alright?"

This isn't a matter of events team handing out powerful items, although the fact that events coins are the only thing handed out do play a part in this. When you get down to it, the purpose of event items are to introduce rare things into the player base, rare enough to give the person a sense of being special. Am I wrong? It'll give a small bit of satisfaction while online, since...they can be proud of what theyve done.

Also... wtf is this about blaming the players? You're blaming them for being bored and losing interest? Somebody said that its the staffs job to try and make the players happy. ....The response was "no it isn't"? What the hell? Of course it is! If a companies job isn't to have its customers satisfied, then WHAT IS IT? From what I've heard, the effect events once had has clearly been lost... they're bored with it all. The events are old and theres nothing new and cool to try and achieve- getting one of the events items isn't as special anymore.

Events masters, stop taking this personally and getting all huffy. This isn't really a matter of events arn't being held often enough. That's what the initial statement was poking at, the events, but the events are all the people have left at the moment. It's all they have, so can you blame them to ask if they can be made more interesing?

It really comes down to lack of content on GK. Yes? Everyone is bored. They want to have fun. Add new quests, add new monsters, add cool rare things to get at all levels to show off, everything needs to be aimed at making the player feel like what they're doing is worth their time, and whatever they're hunting down...what they might be trying to get is worth getting.

Make the peopl feel accomplished...(sense of discovery, of having something special/unique, of superiority in some field...and the goal to work towards it...ways of building yourself up in the online community and stepping up)
