95% isn't even close. If you consider "successful" as achieving over 100 players daily at any given time, then about 2 out of roughly 130 different servers are successful at this point.
Those are your chances.
Then you need to factor in your own ability of managing and development skills. If these are in fact lower than the current 2 "successful" servers, then your chances are even less.
So if 2 out of 130 playerworlds are successful that is like 1.5% of playerworlds... Then you give or take 1% based on your management/development abilities/resources and you have a 0.5%-2.5% chance of success.
Which means 98.5% of playerworlds fail. Damn that is a high percentage of failure...
But there is no need to crush his dreams... Just let him try. There's always the chance that he's in that bottom two percentile! |
