...the point IS, it's silly to say an idea is useless because there's a hypothetical way to script a reasonable faximile. I mean, by that rationale, why did Stefan bother scripting GANIs when you can just do that with showimg? Why bother making baddies in the first place when you can just script moving NPCs?
And in any case the example holds up - you could script a custom map, and it wouldn't be as smooth; likewise, you could make a custom flyscript, and not change the Zoom factor of the tiles in question. |
