Weapon upgrade.

Why not add a new customisation to weapons than just using scrolls?
I've seen on other RPGs especially diablo 2 which i played before graal that you can get weapons with some spells on and armours with some spells on.
Such as 34% of casting *spell* on strike and things.
I've been thinking we could add a *similar* scheme for graal weapons.

Lets think of it as a type of blessing except for magic.
Kill these monsters called wisps which are basically floating gas.
And collect magic dust from them. you can either 1 sell this dust to npc for platinum coins or two collect it for weapon upgrade.

You can go to a smith shop and for an expensive amount of platinum coins add 1 socket into your weapon / armour.
It takes a certain amount of dusts and platinum coins to create sockets and some armour have socket limits. for example.
1 socket only for belt. max of 4 sockets for armour and, max 1 for dagger, max 3 for longsword and so on.

once sockets in you can add gems.
Here is a list of things that can be added and their use for both armour and weapon.
(A) = armour (W) = weapon.

(A) Sapphire - cold resistance
(W) Sapphire - cold damage.

(A) ruby - fire resistance
(W) ruby - fire damage.

(A) emerald - poison resistance
(W) emerald - poison damage.

you get the idea right?
But also if you add the higher gams of great value its more of an effect.

Now for the spell bit.
Collect luck items and kill monsters for drops.
You may find items with spells imbued into them
Armours with such things as 34% chance of casting ice storm level 4 and so on.
It would be good.
A nice armour for low level people would be an armour that casts the spell armour, or summon pet monster if you got hit.

Of course only certain spells can be cast and it would be a nice touch to the game, of course your opinions are welcome.
