Because everyone fails to modernise from the Era tileset look.
While there may be only so much you can do, the levels do look like Era for the reason that those levels would look like Era fine, and for all I know I'd believe you if you turned around and said "SUPRISE, ITS ACTUALLY A SCREENSHOT OF ERA" as so many things look similar/same such as floors, walls, carpet, plants, notes of paper, doors. Heck, why have those grey tiles with the light grey line become a standard 'moden' tile? While, again, I think you are limited, I think you could do much more to at least look a lot different.
