you should practice lighting as much as your modelling, because it defines a model when its finished. You may have an object which has small intricate details which need to be considered carefuly when lighting as shadows may hide them, or you may have a white object which needs very careful ambient lighting to define the edges from the background if it shares the same colour or something |
