Well, even melee attacks are interruptable, but the attacks happen so fast it's hard to do so. However, most magic attacks take 6 times as much time to perform. Magic should still be interruptable, but the chance of the interruption actually happening should depend somewhat on the user's respective magic / wisdom level total. For example, if a player were at level 5 magic, the attacker would have a 95% chance of interrupting. If the player were level 20 magic, the enemy would have an 80% chance, etc. Magic level or wisdom level would be used to determine how hard the caster can focus on casting the spell being used. |
