thing is.. it's all good sam and bjorn making monsters to attack and invade but if we had fortifcations and watching them hack it down trying to get in and us players using our bows to fend them off. slowly they break layers and slowly retreating inwards into the keep, it would be amazing.

Because the kingdoms are or so it seems in peacetime, no major wars just yet. so allowing npc's to start a one with the humans it would be good.
Bomies are enemies of humans, but we humans are territorial aren't we.
so we divide up into kingdoms and go at war with each other.

THING IS...

The bomies would bring kingdoms together too.
Two kingdoms helping a town like bomboria would form alliances.
A constant peacetime is boring but good in a sence, but in peacetime between kingdoms you should still make some kind of action out there

BUT i do suppose sam could do the same in an event, give you time to prepare and somehow make the monsters march to the fort in waves,
it's getting them to hack down the fortifcation thats the thing..
