Both items still exist on GK, but the archetypes for some items (like MSoG and Soccer boots) no longer exist.
Take a look at Bjoern's new site (which is directly connected to the games MUDlib), and you will notice that the items don't appear. At least to me, the only explanation would be the removal of the item's archetypes from the game.
