Well, I've experienced this most with the GUI RC, but it's also a bit evident when I don't use the GUI.

Let's say I have a big string list in an NPC's Flags (ex. The ServerRanks NPC on Classic). It lags me to death to try to load it. By downloading it as a text file I can avoid this lag, but when I want to reset it, I want to modify it's flags directly.

The rank system makes itself into a few huge string lists. It's causing a bit more lag, just by trying to load it or scroll through it, than I really think it should be.

It could just be me, I'm not sure, but if it is, is there any way to reduce the lagging?

I'm running a Dell Latitude D810 (notebook comp), Pentium M Processor - 1.86 GHz, 512MB RAM. The video card is up to date (ATI Mobility Radeon x600).
