Its a supply and demand deal, but I think Oasa is totally right. A competing pub would pull down the prices, create another hangout spot, increase interaction and RP, and keep a solid supply of ready to buy food on hand. If you study economics at all you will also notice that competition actually increases the popularity and profit margins of both companies, so really it should be a win/win situation. |
