I don't like the idea of having to pay in advance to keep your ship in a harbor for a specified amount of time, because you never know how long you will be away. It would be best to pay for the amount of time your ship has been harbored when you try to take it out. You know, like modern day parking garages. Your ship stays in the harbor until you pay the sum in full.
Hmm about houseboats: perhaps they could be made sinkable, and when sunk they can be rebuilt with a certain amount of boards. The sunk ship remains in the water as a wreck. Other things can move over it so it doesn't get in the way. Hmm I dunno just throwing some ideas out there...I don't really like this one myself lol... |
