Hmm... how about more alch recipes for each individual cloak to make one with higher stats? You would just have to rename some of them a bit.

Example:
Cloak of Eternal Flames renamed to Red Cloak (resist fire+15)
Recipe using Red Cloak to make Cloak of Flames (resist fire+30)(attuned: fire)
Recipe using Cloak of Flames to make Cloak of Fire Mastery (resist fire+45)(attuned: fire)(attacktype: fire)

Sorceror's Cloak (resist cold+15) changed to Apprentice's Cloak(resist magic, cold, fire, electricity +5)
Recipe using Apprentice's Cloak to make Sorceror's Cloak(resist magic, cold, fire, elec+15)(magic+1)
Recipe using Sorceror's Cloak to Wizard's Cloak(resist magic, cold, fire, elec+25)(magic+2)(pow+1)(int+1)

Of course the 3rd cloak recipes would have to be made EXTREMELY HARD. And it would be cool if the 3rd Cloaks had particle effects.
