Ok, hat tipped toward the front, from head on view same height it would cover the eyes. The shadow covers down to the mustache line or below the bottom lip showing the chin clearly but not exposing the eyes. (History Fact: Keeping the shadow covering the eyes served a double purpose, it was used so the opponent couldn't tell when you blinked, as some of the duelists were fast enough to kill you while you were blinking)
Side view would be showing bottom part of ears, the characters don't have ears so just guess on that part.
Back view would be about 1-3cm (IRL) above the front, proportion this for zone heads
Idea: When doing the ctrl+z your hat would tip downward covering your eyes and nose.
