I think the big problem is the fact that it's so easy to get your own playerworld. New players are just shelling out $100 to run their own playerworld, and they have no idea what they're doing. How many in-dev PWs are there? How many actually look promising? If it wasn't so easy to get a PW then people would be forced to work together rather than on their own projects... This way the new players would learn from the more experienced players and have better development skills.
I don't see the way playerworlds are bought changing any time soon though... It is making GO money after all. They're sort of shooting themselves in the foot if you ask me though. |
