Back in the day, we used 'Don't connect levels' with the old maps, mostly because it was said it cut down on lag. GMAPs were introduced, and the option became obsolete. This is a disappointment to me, because I prefered it, not just because of the reduction in lag, but an overall preference to not seeing every level as I was travelling. I know you'll tell me this feature is either impossible, or a necessity for the GMAP to function correctly, but I'd trade in a GMAP for that function any day.
