I think it would be better if the NPC-Server itself, and not just the scripting language was more object based, like Java.
It is pretty difficult to make a flexible system with the current limitations on the NPC-Server, having an editable list of existing class npcs of each type of class and where they are would be appreciated.
Also, being able to make a weapon hidden without adding the "-" to the beginning of the name would be nice too.
