When I forum pmed Stefan about GS2 and went to my RC right after, he was on. No kidding, faster than 911 response when the fire station is next door.
Also, you don't have to be GS2 to be Classic tab. I think some of the servers on classic right now don't even have it enabled.
But, having GS2 does give you many advantages over old gscript servers
