Limiting an overpowered weapon to "Just" 3 people or "Just" 12 people doesn't negate the fact that as I go about my own business I suddenly go down in a hail of money because some 1337 sparrer was exercising his right to PK with his even 13374|2 weapon. Sure, he can have a better skin for it, but when he does far and away more damage faster with less penalties and/or vulnerabilities, it's a problem.
Blocking shots is a good idea, mind, just not with an "average" powerful sword. Look in other games - the Defender is a weak attack, high defense weapon. Not an average attack, high defense weapon only available to certain people. |
