Yes I know, and they would lose that income, but I think the new improvements and quicker development would bring more all around players to playing Graal and more trials would see something they liked and purchase a VIP. So Yes they would lose funds in one area, but I think they would gain more then they would lsoe in other, making a profit...
Oh and what you said about not needing to log on just working. Thats true, unless testing something online, or inspecting something and viewing updates on the OW, I am rarely on... just as easy to work off the RC.
