Ok i fixed a small "bug" that was making the escort npcs still asking for help even if the other person has given up searching for the him/her.
The escort npcs are not requesting help all the time, they only request to be escorted if another quest npc decides to search for him/her. The quests npcs are reset each two hours if no one does the quests, sometimes you might need to visit the quest npcs to speed that up.
