I was really commenting on the "I can make this in 5 minutes" sort of tone. It was nasty. Maybe tell him it was bad in a sort of encouraging sort of way, like "That level's pretty bad, but what can I expect, your new? Keep practicing, and oh, try this, blah blah blah blah.".
I personally wouldn't use ratings as a form of encouragement, but people don't know different. I was just saying it was encouragement.
Before you say "Why didn't you comment?". Because I had just woken up and read your post, I'll comment it now:
It's a bad level, yes, but I'm sure once you get a complete feel, and adapt to the current styles, then there's no doubt you'll get better. |
