It's sad how he never editted that simple part of the post. Such a simple thing makes it all ridiculous though. Also, it's not just the wording- it's the purpose of things.
Pirates went to war because one of them had something valuable scammed from them. It wasn't STOLEN! It was SCAMMED (which DOES mean to be tricked into losing something [either partial loss or complete loss], and does NOT mean bug abuse). I would think the pirate would have the attitude of- so we spend our daily lives stealing and scamming for ourselves as part of our way of life, and someone finally gets ONE thing from us, just let it go or maybe steal it back. Don't go crazy and wage war. PIRATES waging ware. Now that's pretty friggin serious.

It's not so funny though. It's just sad...
Also, where's the border between IC and OOC?! It's all sort of just mixed together!! EVERYTHING is mixing into one big canvas! You have Cowboys running around with Samurai, talking like internet people while you have some superior dying fish race speaking intelligently as if the game they're playing is a whole other world rather than just some other thing on the internet! Then you have a "Pirate Club" who meets somewhere in between, and is afraid of theft, killing, and anything evil except destroying worthless abandoned ships.
