Now you're not just talking about lost time, you're talking about lost money as well.
Graal would not be held accountable due to sections in the user agreement, but that wouldn't stop people from complaining and/or at least TRYING to do something about it. Paying real money for in-game items would only cause problems in an environment like this.
I know another online game that lets you pay real money to affect your account by adding special things, or making you look different, but none of those differences are required to be able to actually play the game. It's the choice of the people playing whether they want to pay the money or not.
However, in the sense of event items, they are usually the more powerful items in the game, and thus, anyone who can't afford to buy them, or doesn't like the concept of paying money to borrow a set of pixels for their character is going to innately be at a disadvantage.

People already USD event items and such now, even brutal maps. At least in this way cyberjouers will make a piece of the pie. |
